In this, our seventh season, we’ve assembled a group of over a dozen young designers who make one-of-a-kind garments or small-run collections, with an emphasis on fair-trade, eco-friendliness, and artisan techniques celebrating the handmade and the visionary. WFW provides a platform for emerging designers who display their collections in non-traditional formats from live music and dancers to choreographed mixed media extravaganzas.
Arthur Arbit, founder and curator of WFW, has a passion for the unwavering, personal, take-no-prisoners aesthetic vision. A designer and fine artist himself, he is interested in combining all forms of performance art into his fashion shows.
